The Vision.
What if there was a place where apparel manufacturers could test, develop, and certify their garments for optimal decoration? What if there was a place for decorators to learn how and refine their ability to optimize the decoration of these garments? What if there was a place for the industry to come together to make it easier and more profitable and to make amazing decorated products. We’re excited to introduce the ROQ community to the MADE Laboratory where we think all this, and much more, is possible.
The Background.
Earlier this year, Brett Bowden of our partner shop Printed Threads and Tom Davenport of The Ink Kitchen approached ROQ.US to pitch the idea. Their goal was to create a laboratory using the industry's best equipment and ran by some of the best technical decorators, in order to help apparel manufacturers develop and refine decorating parameters and processes for their apparel. This state of the art facility, located in downtown Fort Worth, Texas, would also make these findings and much more education available to provide value and resources to decorations all over the industry.
